I have severe TMJ and was treated by another TMJ-specialist dentist in a separate practice. I was having very limited results so decided to get a second opinion here. I really like Dr. Karl and his staff. I felt like they did an excellent job of diagnosing my TMJ and listening to my specific issues with the disorder. They immediately started an intensive PT program (both in-office and out-of-office treatments). I really, really felt like they listened to me and mapped out a plan to try every non-invasive treatment they could to try and improve my jaw pain. Unfortunately, other (non-related) healthcare problems forced me to interrupt my course of treatment so I was not able to see it through. I cannot speak to how it would have turned out. That being said, I would recommend them as a first-course of treatment for those who have TMD problems.
